When to start preparation iit and ntse exam

 The right  way to start  preparation is from class 9th for ntse as well as iit 

what to do 

You should complete your state syllabus of math science and sst but you should not learn sst from class 9 only you have to make notes in class 9 of class 9 syllabus of sst  and you have study it in 10th before 3months before exam and start preparation from class 9th of math and science  as well as sat 

You should complete rd Sharma and rs AGARWAL from class 9th as well as ncert from class 9 both two year you should do rs agarwal and rd Sharma which will help you in your boards as well as in ntse and and best foundation for stage 2 ntse and iit jee 

And use Pearson disha foundation books for science which will help you very much in iit jee exam when you will go in higher classes
